The Dane County Cities and Villages Association will hold a virtual roundtable discussion from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, to discuss new funding that can benefit local government sustainability efforts.
Kathy Kuntz, Director of the Dane County Office of Energy & Climate Change, will talk about how the new funding can benefit local government operations as well as community-wide sustainability efforts.
The roundtable will include discussion of the value of renewable energy credits vs. lease payments for solar projects, as well as a discussion of recent federal legislation. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) will commit more than $400 billion in funding for energy efficiency, renewable energy, electrification and climate resilience - what will this mean for communities in Dane County?
We hope you can join us.
