Local Roads Workshop

The Dane County Cities and Villages Association is hosting a Local Roads Workshop on March 11 for public works employees, local elected officials and other interested parties.

Road repair, construction and maintenance costs can be expensive, and our presenters will discuss the following topics at the DCCVA Local Roads Workshop:
  • How to have better roads when budgets are limited.
  • What is the latest in better roads technologies?
  • How can municipalities prolong the life of roads?
  • What are some replacement options?

The presenters are:
  • Benjamin Jordan - Director, Wisconsin Transportation Information Center
  • Deb Schwerman - Director of Engineering, Wisconsin Asphalt Pavement Association
  • Brandon Strand - Executive Director, Wisconsin Asphalt Pavement Association


There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are requested. Light refreshments will be served.
