The Dane County Cities and Villages Association and Dane County Towns Association will hold a Joint Legal Update on Monday, October 30, at The Oaks Golf Course clubhouse, 4740 Piercevill Road, Cottage Grove.

Attorneys from the prominent law firm von Briesen & Roper will give the presentation, informing city, village and town officials about pertinent course decisions that impact local governments in Wisconsin. Topics might include: open meetings law, big-box store assessments and much more.

There will be a social hour with cash bar and free appetizers from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Legal Update will be held from 6 p.m. until about 8 p.m.
